About Us

As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park NY, Plympton trained under some of the world's most acclaimed and celebrated chefs. Plympton has honed her craft over 28 years; working for fine dining establishments throughout the country and around the globe. Her culinary influences stem from experiences in New York City, Southern California, Hawaii to Rome, Italy and Paris (France not Texas 🙂 Her love for travel and cuisine has allowed her to delve into Asian, Tuscan, French, Spanish and even “Southern Comfort” fare.

Jo Ann finds culinary inspiration in her natural surroundings. Her passion for sourcing the freshest regional ingredients and local organic produce, coupled with her preference for emphasizing natural, unencumbered flavors, characterize her unique style. Her eclectic menus offer, in Plympton's own words, “honest and straightforward food.”


Chef Allison Stevens Schaaf is a food, nutrition & culinary expert and founder of Prep Dish & Prep Dish: Personal Chef. She has been cooking for personal chef clients in Austin, TX since 2009.

Allison’s background in the culinary arts includes work at premier health spas, including Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires and Champneys in Tring, England. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University and continuously jumps at the chance to expand her culinary skills: whether hands-on cooking lessons during a trip to Italy or exchanging favorite recipes with friends and colleagues.

 

Her real passion is her work as a personal chef, helping clients achieve their health goals through diet without sacrificing texture or taste.

Initial Consultation

The first step is to set up an initial consultation to sit down with Allison and determine your specific tastes and health goals.

Your Menu

After the initial consultation, we will send you customized menu suggestions for your review and selection.

Day of Service

On your selected day of service, your personal chef will handle grocery shopping and come to your kitchen to do the food prep, clean-up and dishes
